Stranded on a mysterious island covered in drifting debris, you must survive, uncover its secrets, and find a way to escape.

In Stack Island, almost everything is a card. Explore new locations, gather resources, combine cards to craft useful tools, and overcome obstacles as you search for a way off the island.

But survival is only the beginning. Your ultimate goal is to escape.

Explore a Mysterious Island

Discover hidden locations, abandoned structures, and traces of those who came before you. Each discovery brings you closer to understanding the island and finding a way out.

Craft by Combining Cards

Gather resources and experiment with card combinations to create tools and equipment.

Discover recipes, unlock blueprints, and use your ingenuity to overcome obstacles.

Survive the Elements

Manage your health, stamina, condition, and contamination as you explore.

Find food, collect clean water, and prepare for dangerous nights. Fire can keep wild animals away, but resources are limited.

Discover Your Own Path

There are no traditional quest markers telling you exactly what to do.

Follow clues, examine your surroundings, and piece together information from notes left behind.

Experiment, discover, and find your own way to escape.

About This Demo

This free demo lets you experience the core gameplay of Stack Island, including exploration, survival, and card-based crafting.

The demo contains only a portion of the full game's content.

Full Version Coming Soon to Steam

Stack Island has been extensively rebuilt with redesigned visuals, improved card interactions, a new interface, and expanded gameplay systems.

The full version (1.0) is currently in development and is not yet available. It will be released on Steam soon.

Install instructions

Windows

  1. Download the Windows version of the demo.
  2. Extract the ZIP file.
  3. Run Stack Island.exe to start the game.

macOS

  1. Download the macOS version of the demo.
  2. Extract the ZIP file.
  3. Open Stack Island.app to start the game.

Note: On macOS, you may see a security warning when launching the game for the first time. If the app is blocked, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and select "Open Anyway" if you trust the downloaded app.

No additional software is required.
